COMPANY ROOTS

We trace our earliest root to the incorporation of Imad International Limited in 2001 which was into purchase of petroleum products for further distribution to every part of the country. The company was one of the largest bulk buyers from Oil Majors like Oando Plc.

In 2007 the need for the company to embark on importation of petroleum products to meet the increasing demands of the Nigerian populace emerged. Our approach to importation since inception of Imad Oil & Gas Limited - the importation arm of the Imad Group - has always been to deliver high quality products at the government controlled price to ensure uniformity of retail price nationwide which has earned us a formidable reputation for integrity.

We place high premium on timely delivery and good workmanship. Hence our services are always backed with guarantee against any defect or shortages.

Another major branch of the family tree is Imad Shipping & Logistics, which was formed to handle the marine operations and transportation of petroleum products and commodities nationwide.

Since the licensing of the company with an import permit the company has successfully brought in more than eight vessels of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and 30,000 MT of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) with already processed Letters of Credit for 90,000 MT of PMS in-transit.

EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT TEAM

BASHIR ADAMU GUSAU - CEO. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.sc.) degree in Mathematics from Dan Fodio University Sokoto, a Masters degree in Business Administration from Lagos State University and commenced his career as a banker. He ventured into Oil trading about a decade ago. Married with children.

Alhaji Abba Dasuki - Director. He is a Prince of the Royal house of the Sokoto caliphate. He holds a Masters degree in pharmacy and is an astute businessman with interest in several other businesses. He is married and in his early forties.
ACCOUNTS
Alfa Nuhu Suleiman - He is a graduate of Accountancy from Kaduna State Polytechnic and has served in the accounts departments with various organisations in various capacities. He is in his thirties.

ADMINISTRATION:
Ameer Osaruyi Ogida - He is a graduate of political science from California State University, United States of America. He has gathered huge experience from working overseas particularly in the United States. He served the US Navy in various capacities. Married with a child.

MARINE OPERATIONS
Haruna Ibrahim Sabon Birni -After graduation from the Nigerian Defence Academy, he served with the Nigerian Navy for over 15 years and attained to the rank of a captain. He attended several managerial courses whilst with the Nigerian Army and has been in the marine operations business for the importation of petroleum products for several years. He holds a professional diploma in international shipping and logistics management.
Shipping Supervisor
Abdulrazag Yusuf. He holds a PGD and CMILT in transport (NITT) Zaira and a profound knowledge of navigation. He handles and supervises all our day to day shipping operation.

Sales
Nurudeen Hassan Yeldu - He holds a B.Sc in Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto.
He has over six years of experience in sales and distribution of petroleum products.

Strategic Planning & Control Unit
Akin Dawodu - He holds a B.Tech in Agric Econs. He has worked in the accounts department of Accessport Nigeria Limited and First City Monument Bank Plc as a credit review officer in the Oil & Gas sector for five years. He is presently in the strategic planning & control unit of the company. Married.

Trading:
Hassan Yahaya Yakubu - He holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt. He has experience in the Oil & Gas business spanning over a decade. He is in his thirties.
Transport:
Abdulraman Lawal - He holds a B.Sc degree in Geography from Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto. He has several years experience in the management of transport services. Married and in his thirties.
